ABOUT ME
Dr. Masako Nakagawa Graham was born in Tokyo, Japan. She is an expert in Japanese literature and thought. Dr. Nakagawa has obtained various advanced degrees in Japanese literature:

She received a PhD in Japanese Literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987.

She received her M.A. degree from University of British Columbia in 1979.

In 1976, Dr. Nakagawa completed a PhD program in Japanese Literature.

In 1973, she obtained an MA degree from Sophia University.

And in 1971, she received her BA from Sophia University.
She is particularly interested in classical/medieval Japanese literature with Sino-Japanese components. She taught Japanese language and literature at Villanova University in Pennsylvania for 25 years and recently retired. She currently resides in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
